I love the idea of this forum! I just came across it and am not a member of the tacc but plan on possibly joining. What a great idea this is! Thanks for creating it!

Heidi,
You've made a big improvement with the 'Ning' site.

I have a suggestion:
One thing that always bothers me with many discussion sites is that they don't organize messages into subjects, they just plop all the messages into one huge mess.

You could easily make discussion areas on your new web site by having several Main Messages. One could be called Program Night, another Competition Night, and Digital, etc.

You could even have sub-catagories by replying to the main subject message with a category, like a particular Program Night.

If people would add their comments by REPLYing to the right subject area message, messages would be organized by subject.

Of course the question is could you get people to follow this??

What do you think of this?

At least this system sort of supports 'Threads' through the message replies, if people use them.

Good job,
Cris Burgess

Hi Heidi, I have been messing around here this morning and have run up against a wall: How do I remove photos? I put up four just to see what they would look like but can't delete any of them. Are they now there FOREVER? Or have I missed a delete option somewhere?

This seems like a neat site, though as with all such places, it is easy to get too busy to keep up with discussions. Getting messages this way rather than via Marilyn would be fine ... except not everyone is going to join and there are issues that arise about which all members should probably be emailed.

I do like the idea of being able to see photos others have been taken this summer, and so for me this remains the big plus.

So Heidi, how do you 'get' friends on this site. Do you use the invite more?

I've written to a couple other people, but not getting much response.... not sure if it is the 4th or what.

Well, Heidi, I don't know if you'll be able to get anyone else involved here, but I like the idea. I've added a few current photos from our trip out to Iowa. Hope some others at least give this form a chance.
